Today, when I watched the news, I reached up to hold the hand and remember that while my life has its ups and downs, the people of Joplin are living with uncertainty.

I hear over and over again that God doesn’t give us more than we can carry and while it doesn’t feel like that tonight, because I am overwhelmed by the events of the evening… (yes, I’m going to continue thus run-on sentence) I will say that it’s interesting the way He provides means to get thru stuff like this in the form of a 9 year old’s obedience and a 15 year old’s desire to step out in faith and a husband’s unconditional love for me and the music of an extremely talented young musician named Carter Hulsey. His album What You Carry is available on iTunes today http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/what-you-carry/id435795498 and it is awesome rock that is comforting and beautiful.
I don’t know why all of the things are swirling right now, but I am not alone, I do know that.
